Because the long timeline of knitted projects was driving me crazy, I started doing embroidery. With the spate of bridal showers I started embroidering things for people right and left, didn't take photos. Have started remedying that. Note: unless otherwise stated patterns are from the ever fabulous Sublime Stitching (http://www.sublimestitching.com/).

Two Cats (6/03)
What: embroidered flour sack dish towel Colors: Four colors (grey, pink, two blues). When: after making the two towels for Windi I wanted to make something for me. On Display: hanging on the rail on my oven door.
What: linen shell with embroidery on the back left shoulder Colors: Three (light gray, dark gray, pale green) When: after the towel (above). Have seen a bunch of cool embroidered shirts around lately and wanted to give it a try - I haven't worn this shell in a while so figured if it didn't work it wouldn't be a loss. The position of the embroidery was so I could still wear it to work (with a jacket). (First) Worn: planning to wear it this week sometime.
